WordPress Readers, Friends, Fans, SQLDudes, Romans and Countrymen,
Time for an opinion poll @theSQLDude. It’s been a year since I have had my weblog active and running. While the feedback and comments have been great, it’s time to take this to the next level. This fiscal year, I’d like to hear from you (my readers) out there and listen to your comments on what topics/features you would like to read and learn about in this weblog. Could you please help on this very Urgent (CRITICAL)
We are planning to configure Nagios alerts in SQL Server 2008 R2 In Dabase Mirroring.
Databe mirrioring was configured, db01 to db02 with witness server
db01 fails db02 was become principal but these things we have get the alerts through nagious is there any way to do this task please help

Hey Siva,
If I’m underatanding your requirement then you want to trigger an alert when Failover happens in DB Mirroring. It can be done in multiple ways, one way is that you can write your own VB Script code to automate that thing.
